This is What Makes Us Girls

This collection of my photography and art that I can only describe as a love letter to girlhood & femininity. I’ve found that most of the artists I admire are masters of embodying girlhood, through words, photos, or film; Sofia Coppola, Petra Collins, Lana Del Rey, to name a few.

I find beauty in nostalgia and think girlhood is intrinsically nostalgic. I hope to have dedicated shoots where I can play with these themes. Mascara clumps, a bedroom floor that is scattered with clothes, sleepovers, braided hair, sitting on the floor doing your makeup, friendships, pink and all the details that make up my vision of these themes.

In the meantime, this is girlhood in the wild.
